Ant West is average? Give him a good bike and he is as good as 90% of the field. Hence his performance in the World Supersport and now in Moto2 after they changed chassis from Moriwaki. Nobody uses Moriwaki anymore and the MZ he rode the last two seasons was a joke. Even on crap bike in the 250cc he would beat the highly paid factory riders on a consistent basis. If an average rider can get two podiums in a row then the rest of the Moto2 class must be utter crap! You will find many Aussie riders are journeyman because they do not bring sponsorship with them. Cudlin, Martin, Aithinson and others all change teams and championships on a regular basis.
