Tetley...do yo know how many times Westy has been shafted by teams who have no fulfilled their contract? Turning up for first practice expecting last years Aprilia to find the 5 year old model you raced the previous season waiting for you? Having to wait 3/4 of a season for the KTM to make an appearance even though you were told it would be available first race? Waiting for the Warren Willing to join the MZ team for 1 1/2 seasons when he was promised from the beginning. Circumstances change. Name a single rider who would not dump a BSB contract for a MotoGP one. Anyway, he did it legally and paid the money penalty for ending his contract early. It was already agreed he could go if a better ride presented itself as long as he paid the "get out early" fee. So that team suddenly had another $1,000,000 to compensate for the minor inconvenience of finding another rider.
