This "although" shows little understanding of motorcycle and general physics. OF COURSE braking time will be longer and the braking point will need to be earlier: If top speed increases, you need to scrub-off more speed to enter the corner.
By no means does this "longer braking time" mean that corner speed has necessarily lowered. In fact, supposing that both 800cc and 1000cc motorcycles enter at exactly the same speed the 1000cc will be going faster than the 800cc up to the braking point of the 800 even if it has hit the brakes a few meters earlier.
