This constant harping on about Stoner being so good on the Ducati, whilst being undoubtedly true, doesn't add much to the discussion. His style of riding suited the 2007 bike, not so much the later incarnations. His wins did nothing for the bike (not his fault), it was him that won and not the bike. Rossi was employed to develop the bike, it hasn't happened and Prezzer holds his hand up for that. He also has stated that it was a 3 year plan, so I suppose there is a years work planned, though I doubt it. I am shocked at the fact that Rossi & JB didn't get the results needed. I believed they would as I thought that they would get the changes that they asked for. I hope that the remaining changes that are still to come arrive soon and Dovi and Nicky profit from them.
