@Mobilnas. In the 1970's there were very few works bikes in the 350cc class but the Yamaha TZ 350 production racing engine was available for people to install in a chassis of their choice, ie Spondon, Maxton, Harris, Nico Bakker et al, and as I recall, that class was pretty exciting and GP races were won by non-works bikes. Those bikes are what we call CRT these days and I believe any chasis with a production M1 engine would be a very welcome addition to MotoGP, not something to be sneered at!
