I'm not at all convinced that MM can reproduce the Moto2 level in MotoGP. But I also think top 4 is a given.
MM has 1 of the only 4 bikes truly capable of winning under typical conditions.
The technology though means that the absolute limit under braking, cornering and acceleration is available every corner of every lap to these guys, who are all so good that they exploit the limits consistently.
This tends to mean limited overtaking - if the guy in front can be on the limit of grip all the time, then the chances to get by are very very few.
Basically the bikes are too good and too metronomically consistent for the rider to make the difference - its just that Jl, DP, VR & MM have kit that is a bit better than everyone else.
