Oli agree with you except that Rossi won races before going to Ducati and even if you buy into the diminishing ability theory he showed in the couple of wet races and one dry race that he still has what it takes to be competitive. So that said, I'd heavily lean to blaming the bike not the rider. Plus while Stoner fanboys may think that Stoner never lost a race when he was on the Ducati his diminishing results and increasing crashes made him run to Honda.
