Vale must be soooo proud to have fans like some of you. The same could be said for some Casey fans, but at least they appear to be using their brain with correct comparisons and most important variables being constant when comparing A and B.
The comparison is between two different riders, albeit both great riders, and im assuming you are arguing about who is 'better'. Trying to determine who is 'better' is very difficult, but you can only compare thise two riders when the most possible variables are constant. The most unbiased way of doing so is to use a given time frame when they are both on the track together. Hence, why the more intelligent ones are using 2006-2012.
People may or may not like the these figures, but we cannot argue with them because they are there for all to see.
Vale WAS the best, then it WAS Casey. And now to throw a spanner in the works, its Lorenzo that is top of the pile.
