Race weekend top speeds are readily available on the official MotoGP site. I think you will be shocked to see that Marquez has topped the charts in only two events, and both times by very small margins (once was by 0.1kph). Scott Redding (ie: the person who should be most hampered by weight) was even faster than Marquez's bike at Philip Island - go figure.
The engines are also randomly allocated, and the whole Marquez "cheating" scandal has been put to rest as well.
The kid is aggressive, so I get why some people aren't very fond of him, but let's get two things straight:
1. Nothing about his machine is outside of the rules.
2. Even if he does get special treatment, is this any different than what we've seen in the past?
