@Talentfan I agree. What mug thinks that just because a manufacturer's bike wins races that that they make the best road bike anyway? It's not even true in 'production based' WSBK. (A much advertised long life battery is worse than competitors because the company needs to recoup its advertising budget from manufacturing costs.) @Vilas Honda SBKs have the least in common with their road versions. Testing a Fireblade, I was disgusted to find the standard brakes faded in normal use, (not a track day). Everything is marginal on Hondas. Raise the compression ratio and you need a whole new set of ignition coils etc. That's OK for many, no doubt, but it's also why some of us don't like them.
