If "fans" cared more about the tech than they do about the battles, then why doesn't HRC just rent out circuits around the world, hire someone to ride around by himself, and sell tickets for this "tech demonstration"? Surely they'd make a killing...NOT! RACING, as per the first definition in a Google search: "Any sport that involves COMPETING in races". There is no competing without competition, and MotoGP has been lacking that for years. Most races are a time trial these days and the fans have had enough! Sorry dude, you're a smart man, but racing is and always will be about the battles.
