I find a grain of truth in Nakamoto's interview, and I do believe that Honda are more honorable competitors than most major manufacturers. However, Nakamoto cannot excuse Honda's mismanagement of the sport by comparing Honda favorably to another evil empire. Honda have made the sport uninteresting, and the MSMA have failed to create a formula that is both technologically exciting and sporting (therefore entertaining).
Sadly, Nakamoto has twice refused to publicly acknowledge that the MSMA have failed. Imagine if Honda refused to admit failure when they were beaten in competition. They would lose forever. Refusing to acknowledge failure regarding the technical regulations is no less destructive.
