I get a bit tired about hearing views about the 90 degree cylinder angle being the cause of poor handling. In case you hadn't noticed, the WSB Ducati's (& most of their roadbikes) have 90 degree V engines and they handle / corner extremely well. The difference is they use (until recently) trellis frames that are perfectly suited to this type of design and work extremely well. The mistake Ducati made was firstly to go to the carbon frame, and then at the instigation of the Rossi mafia, an aluminium one. Ducati should revert to a trellis frame and then I think you would suddenly see them well back in the game.
