And here we have yet another example of Bird BS. For so long he's been talking about the team building their own chassis and even engine, but the reality instead is a chassis built by another company and the same engine. Not the in house bike he was promising. The biggest problem with Bird (and there are others) is that he runs off at the mouth without thinking about what he is saying. His problem is that he over promises and under delivers, the secret is to under promise and over deliver. If he mouthed off less and got on with the job quietly a lot of people would have a lot more respect for what he has achieved. PBMs final place in MotoGP this year was nothing to sniff at, but fell a huge distance short of what Bird promised earlier in the year. As such Ellison's position looked like a failure when clearly it wasn't.
