Interesting and correct insight RSMick, I wish there was a good book on the privateer struggle in the 70s/80s and 90s.
as for 200k, to my mind that is a bargain. If I could get a Moto gp ride for that money Id sell my house and learn to ride. 200k wouldnt buy you a season in F3 single seaters in 1985 let alone a good ride these days in bikes, its peanuts. Cant believe riders arent lining up for that price, if they beat coming man Petrucci they can only look good.
