I have noticed a constant in racing, that when one teammate starts sucking even more the other usually gets a lot better, proportionally. Having Casey sit out probably gave Dani the extra effort to help him get the bike settled. I dont think Dani really ever got a better package, but I do believe he was getting proportionally as much support as was Lorenzo getting on the YFR team. Ben sucked hard all year and Lorenzo was impeccable, when Casey left Dani turned in to a god, it happened with Dovi to some extent after Dani got injured. So I predict, that if Rossi is able to actually get support, unlike Spies, he will take Lorenzo down a notch, and Marc will probably take Dani down a notch, especially if they want to get Marc up to speed. But if Honda get those tires working, The bike will go up a notch and Yamaha will be lucky to stay on par, especially if Rossi is having issues with riding a bike built and engineered for his teammate.
