@Talentfan I, (and I think most of the others who say they'd have put Lorenzo first), can see the opposing argument isn't unreasonable. We just differ on this point, whereas we agreed on the CRT vs factory prototype debate. They'd have to run races twice, swapping bikes to give a definitive answer to who is best, and even then, if they were run again the results might well vary, depending on track conditions and other factors. By contrast, the boring football fan mentality of the Stoner vs Rossi arguments has blighted every one of the 'Rider of the Year' threads, taking them off topic and so detracting from the featured riders. It's become very stale - the same old stuff repeated ad nauseam and is often both unreasoned and unreasonable.
