I like Spies, I really do... But I can't help but wonder how many other race teams, bike and car alike, wish they could accomplish what Yamaha did, which is to make a harsh, perhaps negative comment about an under performing driver only to have the driver subsequently leave on their own accord? Really, Spies did them a favour and let them of the hook. Hope it works for him but I suspect his place is in WSB.
