It was Haydens and if he had GPS it would not have happened. SPec ECU means someone will decide what I/O will be allowed so first thing out for Honda is Asimo's gyroscope. With limited I/O there will be limited parameters, I am sure the factory will try and multiplex but that may be policed. The battle will basically become a battle between each factory and Magnetti, but more will be feeding back to Magnetti. There will be many benefits from the challenges the software guys face, its not just about where the bike is as what its doing in any situation. The big challenge is fuel as the world wants economy. Anybody who complains about electronics should get used to it they are here to stay, if you don't like it throw your PC/tablet,TV,cooker,washing machine etc out the window, sell your car and bike.
