slow joe what are you on about? hailwood never come back and kicked ago's *** Ago was retired by this time, and had stopped doing the TT for a long time.
Funny how people comment on how good riders from the past were despite probably never watched them and only ever read a book. the same book that doesnt mention the 750 classes which were even more watched the 500's. And also i laugh at you lot that suggest they just turned up rode and had a beer and went home as if they were a bunch of rookies. If you know anything about agostini you will know that he (like graham hill) kept records of everything, every set up, could tell if a bike had the slightest of changes and would want to know why and how. Yamaha's TZ run came after ago mastered it.
Nothing against todays riders but didnt one of them recently say 'its up to ducati to make it go quicker not me, im no technician'
Now which one of them would you want in your team?
