prof-x gets it. Vale had tires that were flown in to fine tune his setup and give him the extra tenths the other riders didn't get throughout his career. He loved Edwards as a team mate becuase he did all Michelin tire testing so they understood the M1. Then the switch to BS and not sharing info with the other side of the garage to keep an advantage over his strong team mate. They tried to make changes to get the3 Ducati to work for him and even though the Ducati didn't seem to have the pumping troubles or complain of chatter he was never competitive. Now he is back to yamaha and you can bet the tires will be designed around their package. With no contractual advantage over Jorge it will be a straight fight for the first time to see who is the better rider.
