'Kick start' HA! .... many a true word spoken in jest (even if it was meant as the usual hyperbole).
Ducati put a better machine on the track than anyone else when the 800s came in. BUT they haven't managed to update it anything like swiftly or successfully enough since.
Its now badly outdated and outclassed.
Audi have a good rep but you can't polish a 7urd.
And for sure they can't polish one overnight.
The best they can hope for this season is
(a) To get to understand the problem and to start to map the solution.
(b) Hope it pi55es down occasionally when Hayden's on form - cos it won't be their nubies that haul points for 'em.
If they bust a gut they may begin to show progress very late in the season. But its a business.
They're more likely to focus their main efforts on trying to sort the problems with the Panigale.
