Hmm - ok. Though we have to consider that, if Rossi had been beaten consistently on the same bike by Lorenzo in 2011 (WC or not) then I'm sure (VR being as media savvy as he is) that VR would realise that his image and reputation would be damaged (the great Rossi beaten 2 times in a row over a season by a team-mate!). The bubble would have been burst. Better maybe to get distance from the troublesome Lorenzo. So - JL or me says VR. No says Yamaha. Plan B - exit to Ducati (only works seat open to VR), where VR was confident he could ride the bike better than CS (& CS at Honda). The rest we all know.
