Gobby wants to keep the Desmo motor. Why ? Because it revs high and high revs mean high power. BUT, high revs also mean high fuel consumption, and the fuel limit is being dropped to 20 litres. So they will have to cut back the power to save fuel. Curses! Foiled yet again! Ducati need to recognise that "traditional" usually means "out-dated", and that their "traditional" designs are not the optimum solution to today's MotoGP framework of Rules. A Camel is a traditional design which is far better than a horse for carrying itself and its load great distances over sand. But you wouldn't enter a Camel in the Grand National, would you? Ducati need to recognise - Horses for Corsa's .
