@ Tetley. Your points just highlight the contradictions that make no sense in MotoGP.
A fuel limit supposedly so the Mfrs can develop fuel efficiency strategies. Yet rules that encourage stratopheric rpm's that are THE gobbler of juice.
The logic says then that MotoGP should introduce a lower rpm limit. But to do that means that all the exotic bits and materials aren't necessary to get a reliable and efficient motor -technology that is already well established does very nicely.
All of which says that either the fuel limit is plain daft, or the rev limit is too high. Having both seems senseless.
