Is it really the tyres? I thought the idea was fixed tyre choice = the same for all bikes in the crucial thing between the bike & the track?
I noted (with a fistful of salt) that Honda's head honcho claims that the single tyre is why satellite bikes haven't a prayer of getting a win any more (& there was me thinking it was cos Honda & Yam had everything their own way).
Thing is... when there was Michelin in the series too - which teams got all the best tyres & the overnight specials, while the small teams got whatever was left huh?
Maybe Ducati's chassis doesn't work with the control tyre. But surely its their job to make it so that it does?
