@ Talent, Honda's satelite teams were getting over night tires (Sete, Melandri etc). I would imagine if the teams could pay for it, they would get it. The control tire, IMO, is a joke. When the rules changed in 2007 stating that the tire allocation had to be at the track on Thursday it eliminated the over night specials. For the first time, Bridgestone was on an even playing feild as Mich. BS could not provide the over night tires to most of the races, the plant was too far away. Mich being in France made it very easy to get the tires to the European rounds. Ever wonder why Capirossi was a Motegi wizz? Bridgestone could get him the tire he needed overnight.
