Generally I agree with 99 Crystal Ball's post. I do think though that Dovi (who I rate) beat Cal with experience rather than with outright pace. Cal in his 2nd season was expected to get buried by most by Dovi, and instead he worried the hell out of him. 100% on the satellite v factory point. Elias, in his finest hour took a Satellite win back in 2006 - by a whisker. No-one has really looked like getting close, even in the wet. In fact, Dovi himself is the guy that did better than anyone overall for satellite podiums just last season - but even though he did great, we have to temper that with the fact that Spies horror year made that easier for a start. The HRC's & Yam factory bikes are a step above all the satellite bikes - Gresini don't even get to use Ohlins as well, cos Honda want it developed (IMO).
