"All of Rossi/JB's request started at the frame, the handling of the motorcycle. First they wanted a more flexible frame, Next he wanted aluminum, Then he wanted a delta box style frame. What were his comments? The bike is no better then when we first tested it. Posted by CRT"
Have you considered this? Ducati hadn't made CF frames before, and they weren't skilled at it. Likewise they hadn't made ali frames, nor delta-box frames. So it is no surprise that the frames they produced were not up to the standard of other teams.
Also if all of the various Ducati frames gave similar characteristics then it points to the motor/installation as being the stumbling block.
