I agree that factory spec bikes are slightly better than satellite spec ones. where we seem to split ways is where you feel the bike is the reason why no sat. wins a race, I feel it has more to do with the rider. I also agree that motogp is home to the most elite riders. Within motogp, however, there is a much wider margin of talent nowadays than there was in the days where sat. bikes were still winning races. now only rossi lorenzo and pedrosa are winning races. according to your theory, spies should have been wiping the floor with his "superior" bike while dovi should have finished far behind him. also per your theory, hypothetically,
