In line with my above comment that the RULES prevent anyone competing with HRC & Yam....
I can't see Audi sticking around in MotoGP if the rules continue to favour HRC & Yam like they do now.
Face it, would YOU be happy to actually DAMAGE the reputation of one of your brands, at great cost, and with no chance to compete? Of course not.
It could be that Ducati's MotoGP's programme's biggest threat is also potentially its best weapon? I think Audi are strong enough & will lobby Dorna for RULE CHANGES to allow them a decent chance to compete with Honda. If they don't get them then its only common sense to pull out of a situation where they can only lose.
Dorna need to wake up, or pretty soon MotoGP won't have anyone in MotoGp to help the pretence that MotoGP is nothing more than a HRC / Yam demonstration event.
