Let us take Rossi as an example as he is the most successful rider in modern times. Does anyone think he would have won his 7 premier class titles if he had not been on a full factory bike? Be honest. In fact, would anyone over the last 10 years have won the championship on a sat bike? Personally i think not.Now what is that telling you? The bike has to be the deciding factor. You can have as much skill as you like,if you do not have the bike, you will not win the title.
