Not much love for the CRT's eh? It's the first year for the class with riders who wouldn't podium even on a works HRC Honda, so what do people expect? Look at Moto2. With the same engine they improved by nearly a second per lap on most tracks between 2011 and 2012- all through chassis development. This year the CRT chassis will be better and they'll have the new extra soft rear Bridgestone which'll help, too. Remember that Eugene Laverty (not Michael!!!) on his Aprilia SBK was keeping up with Hayden on his GP13. If they could get just a bit more from the engines we could see the CRT bikes being a 1 to 1.25 second per lap quicker than last year and that would put the faster riders in the mid-pack.
