One of the reasons Stoner left. He could see the all-CRT grid coming, but before that happens the potential safety issue with running 2 classes of bikes in the same race. The manufacturers will soon realise they will make more money selling CRT spec bikes & engines, and what's the point of racing in a honda vs yamaha championship, they'll get more marketing value from CRT yamahas/hondas. This is Ezpeleta's goal, slowly squeeze out the full factory teams. They've got control of WSB, so they can change the rules there to keep the CRT GP a step ahead. The top riders will have no choice but be on a CRT.
