@ RSMick.....I was addressing the problem of closing the gap between the CRT bikes and the Protos. You have to speed one up or slow the other side down. What ever is done, MotoGP has to lap faster than WSBK to remain the top class. I was showing the impossibility of it all.
PS I forgot to say, you made some good points. I was at Brands Hatch when Phil Read was on a 250 GP bike, Pasolini was on his Works Benelli 500, and Hailwood was on his MV in an International race. I suppose the old International races were ad hoc and probably equivalent to BSB standard.
