@ Codger Gobby also implied that Rossi would go out and do 1 warm up lap, then one fast lap and then discard a new part he did test! No change of set-up to do some evaluation, one try then chuck it in the skip!
Add to this the testing restrictions this suggests that (as Nicky & Gobby imply) that Ducati's 'development' was more akin to a disorganised shambles - & SOME of the responsibility for that HAS to lie with Burgess & Rossi.
It also reinforces what I've said many times - without being allowed more Testing, then the crucial time needed to evaluate changes means Ducati (or ANY other mfr fool enough to throw his hat in the ring) cannot hope to compete with HRC / Yam. Mission Impossible!
