@ Hahahaha You actually made many solid points in your last post, many of which I have said also.
@ CRT When its was 'no holds barred' was a different era and the bikes were't at the level they are now - where maybe 0.05% is the best a factory bike could hope to improve.
The game has moved to one of very, very small returns which need massive investment. Only HRC & Yam can do that.
The rules need to level up the field before there's no field LEFT. We cannot level them UP, as there isn't the money in the economy and HRC /Yam have ALL the advantages already.
So the rules have to change toward more affordable & less tech (which has the happy benefits of improving the competitiveness of the teams, & attracting more teams & sponsors. It is the ONLY direction feasible, & inevitable IMO or MotoGP dies.
I don't think our standpoints are all that different, just our ideas on possible solutions.
