The chance this year will be close racing is very, very small. The status quo is the same, just with 2 different names on the only 4 bikes really capable of filling the top 4 spots in the WC. There is some interest there, to see how the return of VR goes, and how MM does, but that's it.
Those 4 may well be spread out after lap or 2 at many tracks. Then there'll be a gap to the 2nd Class Sats & Ducati's (which if 2012 is a gauge, may well be pretty spread out & static, with the odd tussle going on).
Then we'll have another gap, with the CRT's having a scrap to be top dog in what is really the 3rd Class. Hard to guess how close the competition will be between the CRT's, but it won't matter much as the cameras won't be on them, so we won't see it anyway.
Hmm, doesn't MotoGP sound exciting! Er... No.
