KA had a torrid time on the 2012 Ducati, and always maintained that the old bike he had the previous year was a much better machine. Given that the Satellite Dukes were as off-the-pace against other Sat bikes by Yam / HRC as factory Ducati was behind Factory HRC / Yam, then Cardion were on a hiding to nothing as it was. CRT gives Karel a fair chance against very good riders like RDP & Espagaro and a chance to prove his ability. I'm a fan of CRT if adopted throughout MotoGP - a good way to level the playing field, increase competition, reduce costs and remove VERY expensive technology that just makes it impossible for more than a fraction of the field to have a hope in hell.
