BTW, if you really want to save MotoGP, put them on mass produced slicks. It will slow down the bikes, but it would allow people real choice instead of the controlled outcomes that you see today. Mandate both class of slicks for both WSBK and MotoGP. And guess what, you will see the carbon brakes go bye bye, because the amount of load carbon brakes can put in to a tire is much more significant over the course of a race. Nix Electronics in MotoGP and allow OEM aids and you would get closer to 'pure' racing. Just have to control production of the tires to make sure they are 'to spec.'
