@ Stavros...point taken and I agree with what you say.
My point was that Casey's success on the Ducati was because of his extreme riding style. Often the bike bit him back. In Rossi's case (in the first year) he fell of 12 times because he tried too hard to emulate Stoner and didn't have what it takes. As many other have too.
You have to admire Nicky's efforts, don't you think? He keeps plugging away with little reward.
