@Motojunky...that's your perspective, but just because you believe it, doesn't mean it's right. Rossi was going to be the first to win the title with three separate manufacturers.
His first few laps on the Ducati must have been "disappointing". As a Ducati fan, they were for me.
But he's back at Yamaha now. Let's see how good he is on equal terms. If he's as good as you say, he'll be world champion in a canter. He isn't too old, he has no lingering injuries, he's on a winning bike, he has the same skills, and the best crew. There's nothing to stop him.
I wish him well, but I only really expect more theatre and PR.
