@herewego - that's one of the most ridiculous posts I've read on here, and that's saying something. What a load of unsubstantiated drivel. I well remember Stoner arriving at MotoGP. Apart from showing early promise on a bunch of privateer lower class bikes, and winning a few races against guys with better kit, he was immediately quick on the LCR Honda, even with second string tyres. As the season wore on, the factory bikes got upgrades, he came off a few times. On the Ducati, he was fast once he'd adapted to the bike in pre-season, and smoked the field from thestart. The overwhelming cry from segments of the press, and idiots like you were "it's just the bike that's good". Rossi made big claims, and was ultimately humbled. He'll probably have nightmares about Stoner for life. And now you want to rewrite history. That's pretty sad.
