Bo who says Rossi's performance stayed the same to that of Honda. Give me race by race data showing that the gap did not change. It is pretty much accepted that from 2008 Duc did not advance compared to Honda or Yam and that 2011-12 was simply a continuation irrespective of whether changes were made (frame etc).
As for a winning bike yes in 800cc it was and also did well in 1000cc testing. However two things relative to the Hon and Yam very little changed for the Duc in moving to 1000cc at that testing session and you had a rider with 4 years experience v one that had never ridden it.
Jorge has clearly stated that in 2012 the Honda clearly made a step forward and that is also supported by Dani winning more that season than any other. The odd bit is that he owned his team mate who then crashed and ended his season...
