Still can't believe he got the tech3 ride, he's got alot to prove. Not yet though, its only day 1 and it will be interesting to see how Smith progresses as the times drop. He's only 1 tenth off Hayden but after Hayden there is a 1.4 second gap up to Bautista. Smith needs to move away from the Ducati's and close up to the satellite bikes. I reckon finishing ahead of the Ducati's and not being extremely far behind the satellite yams and Honda's should be his goal this season, any more than that would be impressive
