Roman - were you even watching that season? KRJR's Suzuki was a snail compared to the competition! It went against all the odds that Kenny Jnr got a WC on that bike IMO - it really was a giant-killing effort and demonstrated even then that the disparity between bikes was what made some riders seem 'great' and other's not.
While there was still some margin for a rider to make a difference, for me Kenny's WC proved that its not just the big stars that have the talent, but only the big stars get the kit to make them look betetr than some others at least as good.
