A couple of interesting observations. Firstly, Marquez is legit. Now I firmly believe that last year Marc had a substantial bike advantage in comparison to the rest, which allowed him to pull out races like Motegi. However, it's one of those situations where the cream rises to the top. He got the gigs because he got the job done. Can't argue with that. The fact he seems to be getting the measure of Valentino says a lot about him. Is Rossi in his prime? No. Is he a world class rider? Absolutely.
Secondly, it is getting ridiculous (in a good way) how close Pedrosa and Lorenzo have been. Pedrosa stepped up a league last year and seems to be carrying on delivering the goods and we all know how good Jorge is. I feel like this season will be great to watch. A legitimate Pedrosa title challenge (as well as he did last year he was always playing catch up, especially after Misano), Lorenzo defending his title, Rossi out to prove his doubters wrong, and Marquez looking to show the world he's rea
