Why all this talk about Suzuki in 2014? Even if Ben is on a Suzuki he won't be winning, and that's no comment on Ben's riding. There's simply no way that Suzuki will be competitive in their first year back, even if they do come back. Firstly it's a long time since Suzuki were last properly competitive in MotoGP. Actually they've never been a serious competitor since the class started. Secondly Yamaha and Honda will have a couple of years race development behind them under the current rules*, which amounts to a two year start. Suzuki will be playing catch up for at least a season, and I'm sure Suzuki would openly admit that. It's only the blind loyalty of Suzuki (and possibly Spies) fans that makes them believe otherwise. *So have Ducati but they seem to have squandered the first year.
