Guys keep pushing Stoner into the picture! I agree he rode the Ducati better than anyone, even better than Rossi. However, the problem is that the Ducati never evolved much from 2007 whereas the Japanese duo morphed into the serious race winning machinery of today! Stoner won 10 races in 2007, 6 in 2008, 4 in 2009 and only 3 in 2010. Yes, at least Stoner won races and competed at the front. But Stoner also crashed more than the other riders. Not because of his own fault but because Ducati stagnated in their production. So bringing Stoner back will achieve very little. Ducati need a kick up the rear to produce a proper race contender
