Seems to be a lot of speculation being taken as fact. I guess if one repeats such speculation enough times they begin to believe it. Here is something that most likely is not speculation and was reported by dependable news agencies. The wall went up because Rossi went to Bridgestone and both Michelin and Bridgestone did not want to share their trade secrets, hence the wall. Why is didn't come down has been explained many times by dependable news agencies. And it was not because Rossi didn't want to share data. It was something to the effect that after the wall went up JL started paying attention to what he was doing instead of what Rossi was doing and it was helping his riding, so the wall stayed up. But that could be speculation as well.
